How to Add Products to Google My Business

Learn How to Add Products to Google My Business in a few minutes!

Welcome back to another Momentum Monday Marketing blog! Today we’re going to talk about how to add products to Google My Business. By doing this, you will be able to promote your business products and services directly to those who view your Google My Business page.

Getting Started with Google My Business

Google My Business is a free account that allows you to register your business online. Your business listing will show up under Google Search and Google Map results when potential customers search for related products and services. GMB is a must-have when it comes to great Local SEO.

Consider downloading the Google My Business app to access your account on your phone when you’re on the go and away from your computer or laptop. If you don’t have a Google My Business account, you can make one now using either a free Gmail account or your Google business account.

For starters, you want to know what Google My Business is before you decide to invest your time into trying it. As the name implies, Google My Business allows you to create a listing for your business on Google.

When a consumer researches your business on Google — or even searches for terms related to your business — you want to ensure they have all the information they need to visit, make a purchase, or contact your company.

Log in and add products to your GMB Account

Once you’re finally logged into your GMB account, choose the business location you want to work on.

On the homepage sidebar, navigate to the Products tab. This allows you to post and advertise products of your business that are for sale. Click the tab to add your business products.

Add your product’s name, category, price, description, and image. If you have photos taken of your product, consider uploading them. Make sure your image files are either JPEG or PNG.

Additionally, you have the option to add a CTA that redirects a viewer to another page such as your website.

Finally, add a link that takes visitors to your product’s purchase page.

Be sure to set up a Q&A, respond to your customers’ reviews, and regularly post to your page to grow your business using your Google My Business page.
